Story
Whoever you are and whatever you're going through, I believe there should
always be a safe and nurturing place you can go to help lift your spirits and connect with others...
The power of peer support is that it offers people from all backgrounds and walks of life the opportunity to meet and connect with others in spaces that operate on sincerity, mutual respect, acceptance and compassion. It can include activities, outings, sharing knowledge or providing emotional, social or practical support. In my experience peer support has been deeply comforting through a period of personal mental health crisis, it has given me purpose on the hardest days – whether it's a walking group, online group or open art session, it's a type of service I believe in and want to promote and support.
I am excited to announce that I will be joining a walking challenge for Changes Bristol from 1st > 31st March. I will walk 68 miles throughout the month. I will track my distance and celebrate this wonderful city – check my Instagram page – zz__arts for updates and progress!

86 % of members said meet up groups made them feel less isolated.
85 % of members said attending meetings helped increase their confidence
and self esteem.
83 % of members said attending meetings improved their quality of life
