Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Anyone who knows me looking at this page will  be thinking what an absolute nutter and maybe your right

But I am a nutter who is passionate about making a difference to anyone who will go through living with a brain tumour in the future.

Watching my absolute besties live with this now is absolutely heartbreaking but like them I am determined to make an absolute difference for families in the future

Simon was just 52 when he recieved his diagnosis this January and to later recieve the prognosis of just 12 months life expectancy has rocked all of our worlds its put life into perspective and highlighted whats important

Living life everyday to its fullest spend time with loved ones do the things that you want to do and so that led me here the london marathon on 21st april 2024 its going to be hard but living with a brain tumour watching a loved one with a brain tumour is harder

Brain Tumour Research only recieve 1% of national funding for cancer research nationally so every penny additionally raisied is so needed to help make a difference

Thank you for taking the time to read my page and if you have been able to support in any way thank you so much 😊

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
