Sam and I are tackling the Transpennie Challenge in aid of Cancer research! It is a 100km (62 miles!!) endurance wallk along the historic Trans Pennine Trail.  It departs Manchester, ventures through the stunning Peak District before hitting the 50km midpoint at Penistone, then its onto the Don Valley Staduim where the finish line at Sheffield awaits.  Its non stop, day and night and although it maybe ambitious we are hoping to complete it in 24 hours.
