Born of the NHS, UK-Med has been working for over 20 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit. Major disease outbreaks, the growing climate crisis, and long wars are creating a global health emergency that affects us all. Crises take lives, separate families, and devastate communities. And, too often, the worlds poorest are the hardest hit. When services are overwhelmed, we get expert health staff to where theyre needed fast. We also work with communities to ensure they are prepared for future crises.
