We Right at Home Maidenhead are taking part in Memory Walk 2023 to raise money for a world without dementia.

At Right at Home Maidenhead, we spend our time looking after loved ones with Dementia and Alzheimer's. The support is a beautiful experience of lots of cherished memories of loved ones and having the opportunity to support is so rewarding. We would like your support to sponsor us to support the Alzheimer's society to improve, support, studies, research and beneficial therapies and so much more. A project, very close to our hearts, mind, and daily lives. Between our team, we have over 20 years of beautiful memories and experiences supporting individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer's.

There are currently around 900,000 people with dementia in the UK, set to rise to 1.6 million people by 2040. The total cost of care for people with dementia is currently £36.7 billion which is projected to increase to £94.1 billion by 2040. With no cure for dementia, research is urgent and requires funding to enable a powerful force for change for your loved ones, clients of ours and everyone else who is affected by dementia.

Our chosen charity, Alzheimer’s Society, give help to those living with dementia today, whilst providing hope for the future. Their funded research aims to improve diagnosis, develop new treatments and improve care and support for people living with dementia.
