Just over a year ago my granddad sadly passed away after suffering from Alzheimer's. In the years preceding his death my family and I witnessed both the mental pain and physical torment he experienced whilst he deteriorated to a point where he was no longer recognisably my granddad. Having experienced this, I would hate for anyone else to have to suffer from Alzheimer's, both for their own sake and the stress it places on their families.

So I'm going to run the London Marathon and ask you to donate to help prevent this
