Story

Race to Remember is a 77km Ultramarathon in early November organised by Combat Stress, who are a fantastic charity that provide mental health services to ex forces men and women. The course starts in Aldershot and finishes in Pompey at HMS Victory.

I'm raising funds for the Shipwrecked Mariners Society who since 1839, have provided financial assistance to fishermen and mariners and their dependants who have suffered hardship, misfortune or poverty, as a result of an accident, illness, disability, unemployment or retirement. They are vital for seafarers especially in these trying times as they help get the most needy through this tough winter.

Hopefully I can run, walk or more probably crawl through the course and any donation will not only help a great charity but also provide huge motivation to get me across the finish line.

Thanks so much,

Sam
