Story
1 in 4 of us suffer from mental health issues in the UK and it is still a taboo subject that is often left ignored.
I want to inspire more of us to get out and run. I believe running is a great release that can really help the mind. And whilst we are in this current crisis, there isn't a better time to get out and run!
Therefore, I wanted to set this challenge for myself, and my colleagues whilst raising money for an excellent cause.
Team Story
The team at Jonas Sports are aiming to provide additional support to those who are struggling with mental health during the COVID-19 crisis.
Sport can play a huge part in mental well-being, and with it on hold, we wanted to do our bit to help.
All the participants from Jonas Sports, and the wider Jonas community within the Vesta group will be completing a Half Marathon (13 miles) over two days (30-31st May).
Whether that is running or walking, everyone will do their bit. Those brave enough to attempt it in one go will do so. I personally will be attempting it all in one go!
Those taking part, who will be either running or walking in their local surroundings will be adhering to guidelines on exercise and social distancing.
