Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So here's the story. A fun filled day on motocross bikes which turned south very quickly. Myself and my brother Ryan both hit a large ditch and suffered numerous broken bones, the worst broken backs.

We both lay in a field not knowing what to do as we had no phones and the nearest place being a mile away. I had to leave Ryan and search for help.  Luckily a kind farmer helped and called for the ambulance.

I was then taken to queen Elizabeth hospital where I received incredible medical help. The operation I had consisted of 5 bolts and 2 metal rods connected to my spine to stop any further damage and allow me to heal. If I didn't have this operation i would have been bed bound for 6 months or more! We both made full recoveries which wouldn't have been possibly without the staff and technologies we received.

The charity event we are doing is on the 19th of September 2019. This involves buying a car for less than 1k and seeing if we make it across 8 countries in 5 days. Visiting England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland.

Please donate so more people can benefit from the amazing work and technologies at queen Elizabeth. If it helps one person on the road to recovery I'll be very happy.

Many thanks Sam and the banger rally team
