I’m doing it again  

After having an amazing time last year, I said as soon as I crossed the line I wanted to do it again.

So here I am, asking again for your help to support the Great North Air Ambulance. Fortunately, I have never required their excellent service, but I have witnessed their wonderful team in action on several occasions. 

Been born and growing up in a rural area, I saw first hand the service they provided to the out lying area. After moving to Gateshead, I now regularly see the helicopter coming into the RVI and have watched the series on tv following their work.

Obviously it’s not cheap to run this service and it’s a charity I feel brings a lot to our local and wider area, and undoubtedly saves countless lives in the process. 

I thought hard about who to run for because there are other amazing local charities, but ultimately I have decided to support them again.
