At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My Grandad Dolly Gray sadly died from complications linked to Alzheimer's in 2010. Grandad was not only a highly decorated war hero, but he was also my best mate.

Grandad was a Remi and landed on Juno beach on D-Day. I'll let his medals do the talking.

Alzheimer's robbed my Grandad of his dignity in his last years, and after first hand witnessing what a cruel illness this is, I wanted to help in some way, even if it is a bit later than intended.

I am doing a skydive from 13,000 feet on 26th June in memory of this great man and to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society who fund research into Alzheimer's and also provide help and support to Alzheimer sufferers and their carers.

Please give generously.
