Story
Endometriosis is a chronic and debilitating condition that affects 1 in 10 women. Unfortunately knowledge of Endometriosis, even in the medical profession is still not mature, and on average it takes 7.5 years to receive a diagnosis. That's 7.5 years of suffering sometimes incredible pain whilst being misdiagnosed and pushed from one appointment and theory to another.
Debs, (my wife), was finally diagnosed with endometriosis 2 years ago, by which point it had advanced a lot. 3 surgeries later, we are both hoping that it will be manageable now, but there have been years and years of sometimes unbelievable pain to endure - and we will always wonder how it would have been if the diagnosis had come much sooner.
That's why I want your help to raise money for this great charity. 1 in 10 women suffer with this condition, not just women but teenage girls too - and often their pain is brushed aside as simply heavy periods.
Will you support Endometriosis UK to #EndoTheStigma? This Endometriosis Awareness Month the money you raise will go a long way in helping us support those affected to get the support and healthcare they need.
