I know first hand due to being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer back in October 2015 and having to go through surgery, chemotherapy & radiotherapy how cancer effects not just the person but loved ones, family & friends. Being able to take part in something that can help families financially and take away some of there worries whilst going through treatment means a lot to me 🥰   So…..I’ve signed up and I will be competing in this years boxing event on 22nd October (yep me in the boxing ring 🥊💪🏼😀) to help raise money for this amazing charity so please dig deep (I’m doing all the hard work 😉) and help me raise as much as possible to help support families locally. 

The training is going to be tough on my body but I will give it my best shot 💯 % 🥊 xx

Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) support local families who are going through one of the toughest times in their lives. As a local charity we are able to act fast and can provide much needed funds via the Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours. We provide directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause. Therefore, the money raised through the Fight for Cancer event will be distributed to local people who need it most. FFC also make regular donations to other local and national Cancer charities working in our community. 

In the last few months, FFC have acquired a holiday home so not only can we provide financial support for people with cancer, but we can also offer a respite for families to get away. This new service would not have been possible without our supporters and sponsors' support.
