Welcome to my next hair-brained scheme!  A 400km cycle through Kenya for cancer charities. It seemed a good idea having enojyed a cycle through Bracknell forest. Bracknell, Mount Kenya - how different can they be???

But its for a good cause. As time goes on I see more and more people affected by cancer. So here I am, training hard, ignoring complaining knees, buying padded shorts (for the bike, no other reason - as if my bum needed any padding!) and reserving a spot in the cycling studio at the gym.

So, it is to you my friends, family, colleagues and all round good eggs that I look to support me in my hour(s) of insanity. For it is your support that will get me through the blood, sweat and tears from now until the end of February. For support read money. I have a hefty ttarget to raise before December 2011.
