On June the 8th I will be embarking on the hardest challenge I have ever attempted which is a 100km ultra marathon in the Lake District. 

Having never done a normal marathon I really wanted to push my limits to the maximum. This will be a huge challenge of my physical health and my mental resilience to keep going when it's easier to give up. I will be training for 5 months to make sure I have the highest possibility of completing this challenge with a target of finishing under 20 hours but a main aim of just completing the challenge!

I've chosen to raise money for MIND because all money raised will be used to help provide support for those with mental health issues. This is a massive cause and one that's very personal to me as I have used their services before to learn about coping and improving my mental health.
