The RNLI had always been close to my heart and as a volunteer fundraiser and treasurer of our local branch I know the lockdown has been difficult - we are a charity and rely on the public for support financially - lockdown has meant we haven't been able to fundraise but our boats and crew have still been called out to assist people and save lives at sea - so I'm calling MAYDAY - and asking for just a small donation to help keep our boats afloat and our crew safe .... and those of you who know me know I'll do the mileage in return ...
