Unfortunately my life has been touched by the wicked disease on a numbe of occasions but in September 2014 my grandad died, someone who was extremely close to me.  In some ways he was like my dad especially when I was little and my mum often had to work to support us.

He is missed by me and my family every minute of every day.  His illness took him away from us in about 3 weeks.  At his diagnosis he had 6-12 months to live, a week later he had to return to the oncologist only to be told he had no more than 2 weeks.  In that week it had gone from only being in two places to not being in two places.

My fundraising can't help him, but it can help others.
