We raise money to support sick and premature babies

Story

I am running to raise money for First Touch, the official charity of the neonatal (newborn) unit at St. George's hospital which cares for premature babies. The charity helps fund state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training outside the scope of NHS budgets. It also supports families during their stays on the unit with a range of initiatives.

Many of you will know that our Charlie was born at 32 weeks and spent 4 weeks in special care at the Royal Surrey before he could come home- a similar charity to First Touch provided us with support at a very difficult time, and so this is a cause very close to our hearts. We are lucky enough to have a happy and healthy boy; others are not always so lucky and charities like First Touch are so important in supporting families as well as their babies at such a challenging time. I would be so grateful for any donations!

I have started training now I have some time off for summer, and hope to run it in under 1 hour 45 mins!
