Hi all! 

About a month ago I saw that some Southampton students were attempting a charity event where the participants run the combined distance of the Great Wall of China around our campus. The Facebook event is here:

Since it sounded like a great idea, I signed up. So far, I'm running the furthest distance of anybody who has signed up: 18 kilometres. This is just under a half marathon. Not much in the scheme of things, I know, but it's a lot for me! 

The run is to raise money for the Scottish cancer research charity AICR, and any money you could give would be much appreciated! The run takes place on the 8th of May.
