Story
Group B Streptococcus is the UK's most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies and of meningitis in babies under age 3 months. On average in the UK, at least-two babies a day develop a group B Strep infection -one baby a week dies from their GBS infection, and-one baby a week survives with long-term disabilities – physical, mental or both.
Unfortunately my Daughter contracted Group Streb B Meningitis at 2 days old and has been left with severe disabilities due to this. She has been fighting the whole time against this preventable disease. It is time for me to do some fighting so nobody else has to go through what we have been through with Phoebe. On the 26th April 2020 I will be runnning the London Marathon. All donations will go to help educate, support and fight for families and babies who have been affected.
