Story
I was paralysed nearly 12 years ago. When I first came out of hospital, I thought the same about my future as most would have. How the general media portrays disability. As having, a half life. Excluded from the world and a burdon on society. Thanks to charities like Scope, I have been shown that my disability isn't something that defines me. It isn't something that I should be ashamed of. It's just something that makes me unique, and it's something to be proud of. I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for Scope as a way to thank them, and to help them continue to change the mindset of disabilty in a modern world.
