I'm heading to Japan with some volunteers from Dreamflight. The trip is to raise awareness of, and money for, Dreamflight. They're a great charity who, every year, take on the massive operation of sending 192 seriously ill and disabled children on the trip of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida. Last October, my brother Will was lucky enough to go on this trip. He had an absolutely amazing time and spoke extremely highly of the people he met through it. To make this trip possible, Dreamflight have to charter a plane, travel with doctors and other medically-trained professionals as well as a crew of volunteers who escort the children around the theme parks, and help with their everyday needs, as well as offering friendship and emotional support. Obviously the costs involved to make all this possible are very high and Dreamflight relies solely on donations to pay for it all, so it would be fantastic if we can raise enough to help out. The climb will be 25th-26th August.

Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.
