Story
I was diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) when I was around 13. Although my condition is only mild, this can be very severe in some people. It's generally quite an unknown disease and I want to raise awareness and try and help support those who need it.
It's classified as a connective tissue disorder and the general symptoms are unstable joints, early arthritis and muscle fatigue.
I want to prove that running long distance like this is as much about mental fitness as it is physical. It's going to be tough, it's going to be painful but that feeling of crossing the line is like no other.
