Story
Most of you will know that my son, Joshua was diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic in 2016 before he turned 2. There is currently no cure for Type 1 diabetes and there is no holiday from it.
I will be running from London to Brighton 100km (62 miles) in just one day to raise money for JDRF. (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
JDRF have helped us personally by providing information and support, they also provided Joshua with a Rufus bear to help him become accustomed to the many injections and cannula insertions.
JDRF are leading the way in preventative research, treatments and potential permanent cures for millions of children and adults just like Joshua.
Rufus bear will be joining me on my challenge.
