Aintree Countryside Race Day · 28 October 2018

Story

Sam Butler, senior partner at Butler Sherborn, the Cotswolds Property Specialists and Chairman to the Warwickshire Hunt, is riding to raise funds for the Countryside Alliance Foundation in this year's Aintree charity race. He is riding out regularly at Ben Pauling's successful national hunt yard in the Cotswold's, and working in the gym with Robert Bellamy's fitness programme!!

Sunday and Aintree it is! Powerful Symbol and I are ready, I think! He certainly is! He has  been kindly lent to me for the race by his owners Mr and Mrs Hegson and I can't thank them enough. I am so looking forward to riding him! He's been keen on the gallops!

Ben Pauling's yard and everyone there have been fantastically supportive and kind! What a professional set up! ! Also, thank you to everyone for their very generous donations and support! So appreciated and for a very good cause!

About the charity

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.
