Story
Brave, funny and kind, Toby is my fantastic cousin who lives in Berkshire, and we share the same love of cycling. In March 2021, at the age of 15yrs, Toby was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. This is a form of bone cancer which is incredibly rare.
My name is Sam Brown, I am 11yrs old and live in Peebles Scotland. I have decided I want to raise money to support 2 valuable charities. Clic Sargent (clicsargent.org.uk) which, as of 26/05/21, is Young Lives vs Cancer (www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk) and Bone Cancer Research (www.bcrt.org.uk). Young Lives vs Cancer supports children, teenagers and their families with cancer and have already helped Toby and his family during this difficult journey.
I will cycle 160 miles over 2 days, at the end of June. 2 miles for each person diagnosed in the UK each year. I hope this will raise
much needed funds for the charities, raise awareness of this incredibly rare condition and help to continue the valuable support that Young Lives vs Cancer does. Please support me, Toby and this charity by donating what you can.
Thank you,
Sam
