Great North Run 2022
Campaign by Bowel Cancer UK (RCN 1071038)
The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with an incredible atmosphere. It's an amazing event to be a part of whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be a part of something special.

Story

Having lost my father-in-law, John, in January 2022 and my grandad Bright in May 2014 to bowel cancer, I am running the Great North Run in September to raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK.

They are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity that fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
