This is far from a stroll on the beach! In October 2023 we are taking on this iconic challenge, hiking through the ever-changing landscape of the Sahara Desert to thank Acorns for the love, care and support they provide to so many children and their families. A very special family member of Samantha's Oscar is just one little boy who received care from Acorns Children's hospice. We want to raise as much money as possible as a token of our appreciation.  Thank you in advance for supporting us.

This isn't going to be easy. Oscar lives on in our hearts and minds, never more so than during this trek. He'll help us every step of the way!

If you'd like to know donations will help the charity, here are a few ideas:

£10 could fund art supplies for a session of specialist craft play

£15 allows us to take a sibling on a day out

£20 could help fund the resources for our clinical outreach teams to provide short breaks in the family homes

£45 will fund one hour of care in a hospice

£50 will cover the cost of a family member staying at Acorns overnight

£85 will fund a music therapy session at the hospice for a group of children

£100 will provide the funds for a family to stay overnight
