Story
Our challenge is to cycle 14km, walk 5km and run 1km. Sounds simple individually, but back-to-back will be the challenge, especially for 9/10 year olds!
The reason? We are supporting Ripple Effect, a charity working with vulnerable farmers across East Africa who have been faced with crisis, after crisis, after crisis: covid, cost of living and climate.
Ripple Effect is a force for change in rural Africa. We’re creating a wave of change in rural Africa. It starts when we bring farmers together to learn practical ways to grow and sell more. Their farms are more productive, they lift themselves out of poverty, and share what they learn with families and neighbours. For every family we work with, three more families benefit. Soon hundreds, then thousands, are thriving. It’s a movement that grows and grows.Become part of the ripple effect and help build a movement that grows and grows.
