Running the Bristol 10k for Bristol City Centre Hospitals

Bristol to Paris 2020 · 9 September 2020 to 13 September 2020 ·
I am not a runner. I've never liked running. I've tried many times but given up because I've disliked it.
This September I will be running the Bristol 10k to challenge myself and raise vital funds for Bristol's Hospitals charity, Above & Beyond - a fantastic charity that supports nine hospitals in Bristol (and also in Weston), funding the big and little things that the NHS cannot afford to do.
Whether its redeveloping old and updated wards, the latest technology to treat patients, to the next clinical trial to help fight cancer, to staff training and development or providing worry monsters to help children be less scared about an operation, Above & Beyond exist to support Bristol's hospitals.
I gave birth to Margot at St Michael's Hospital in 2018 and the birthing suite was a calm space and the staff we're so supportive. Over the years, the NHS has helped me with various medical conditions, so I want to give something back to the staff, hospitals and to our beloved NHS so they can continue providing the very best care to patients.
Last year has been a year like no other, and due to the Covid panademic, charities like Above & Beyond have been seriously affected financially and are unable to continue with their fundraising events such as the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge, which is what I originally signed-up to do.
Your support today means so much, so please help me on my journey and give as much or as little, as you can.
Thank you, Sally xx
