Many of my friends and family have been affected by cancer, but this year I am doing the Race for Life especially for the daughter of one of my dearest friends.  Lucy is 33, has two very young children and was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2013.  She  is determined to run herself, even though she will still be undergoing chemo at the time of the race.   I have known Lucy pretty much all her life and believe me she is a STAR.  I will be "racing" as part of Lucy's team, dressed in a pink tutu,  pushing my own grand-daughter in her buggy.   That's got to be worth sponsoring - come on, dig deep!
