The greatest marathon in the world. For the last 85 years, Diabetes UK has been at the forefront of diabetes research. We've discovered how to put type 2 diabetes into remission and were working day in, day out to find a cure.

Story

Yep, that’s right, I am running the marathon.

I am not a runner, I try and I’ll be trying a lot harder in the build up to April 2024.

Diabetes impacts so many people but only myself and my family a couple of years ago when my AMAZING nephew Ethan was diagnosed with type 1 at just 8 years old.

My whole family have had to learn so much (my super sister and brother in law more than anyone!) to make sure that Ethan is healthy and happy.

He has been a superstar, never letting it impact his day to day life and dealing with all the rubbish that comes with diabetes so so well!

I don’t claim to know anything about what living with diabetes is like but do know that any money raised might help him to have a slightly easier and more comfortable life, so for that I’m willing to torture myself to try and raise as much as possible for Diabetes UK.

Any donations would be amazing, any support would be amazing, wish me luck I’m gonna need it!
