Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are entirely self funding this trek so every penny raised goes to Dogs for the Disabled. The charity receives no government funding and relies solely on donations. It costs £10,000 to train an assistance dog, and these animals help children and adults with physical disabilities as well as children with autism. The dogs help on a practical level by pressing switches, opening doors, helping to dress/undress and emptying washing machines etc. As well as providing independence, these dogs help to increase confidence and self esteem by providing companionship for their owners.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now.
