Story

I somehow inadvertently signed up (pc pixies thankyou!) to do a 50 mile cycling challenge dressed as a superhero!! Shortly after my heart sank i realised that, despite not having cycled since I was 10 (which by the way was a loooong time ago!) and not having been to the gym for almost as long, I really wanted to do this.  This is why:

1. For the last few weeks I have been looking for a challenge to push myself physically and mentally (I really hate cycling, can someone do the hills bit for me? Seriously.....)

2. Most importantly its a fantastic cause and something that I am very proud to be a part of

3. To support Jamie McDonald in his efforts, who you may have seen on the news for cycling Bankgkok to Gloucester through hostile and dangerous terrain, and getting shot at. a lot, in support for this appeal

There are thousands of sick children that pass through Gloucester Royal Hospital every year; these children need special equipment to improve their health and also need necessary teaching equipment to develop their learning skills. The Pied Piper Appeal provides this essential equipment not only at Gloucester Royal but also supports the county in providing equipment for sick or disabled children around Gloucester.

So I know times are tough but consider how it is for some....
