Story
We have decided to do the Three Peaks In Three Days challenge. This will involve climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon .
Sal is walking in memory of her sister-in-law Julie Williams a courageous lady, wonderful wife, and Mother to her 2 daughters who was a keen walker and managed the 3 peaks in 24 hours a year before she passed away. And was cared for in her local hospice. The Big C is a disease that affects all too many of us these days.
so to make the challenge worthwhile we thought we would like to raise some money for our local Hospice to celebrate our 50 plus years of close friendship. Severn Hospice gives specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire and North Powys who are living with an Incurable illness and having cared for several close family and friends of ours we felt we would like to give something back. So if you feel you would like to give something to this very worthwhile cause we would be very grateful and will do our utmost to fulfil the challenge
Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 83p directly on care - and use the remaining 17p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped provide more than £9m of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!
