I have signed up for the Camino trek in memory of my Mum who was supported by St Wilfrid’s Hospice at the end of her life.

I have spent my working life as a Community Palliative Care nurse ,the last six years for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

My mum, who had moved down to Eastbourne, developed complications after an operation and we transferred her to our home for end of life care. Now I was on the receiving end!

St Wilfrid’s care was outstanding.Compassionate, kind and professional. Mum died peacefully at our home, surrounded by her family.This would not have been possible without the support of St Wilfrid’s.

I will be walking with my Camino companions Sue, Clarice, and Catherine and we have started our training .

We are planning to have fundraising events which I will keep you updated on, but I would be so grateful if you could show your support for the Camino trek through my Just giving page.
