Sally's Welsh 3 Peaks Trek for Hospice of the Valleys

Hospice of the Valleys Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge · 11 June 2022 to 12 June 2022 ·
I’m taking on the challenge of trekking the 3 highest Welsh Peaks - Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan in 17 hours for Hospice of the Valleys on June 11th 2022.
In November 2020 my wonderful father, Gerald, was diagnosed with Cancer. Since then, Hospice of the Valleys have supported our family in ways no other organisation has. From regularly visiting Dad, organising care packages and liaising with GP’s/District Nurses to helping with emergency care when we’ve felt no-one else would help us. It has been such a relief knowing that you can make contact 24 hours a day.
They’ve also provided wider support to us as a family - been there to answer questions day and night and calling regularly for a chat to see how Mum is feeling.
I couldn’t be any more grateful for all that they’ve done.
Thankfully, Dad is well enough at present that he has been discharged from the hospice but I’ve decided to take on this challenge to raise funds as a small way of thanking HOTV, so that they can continue to provide incredible support to other families.
Hospice of the Valley’s have agreed to refund our trip fee if we reach a sponsorship target of £350. However, If I am able to reach this target I will donate my refunded fee.
If you are able to make any donation to support the Hospice I would be so grateful.
Diolch yn fawr - Thank You
