Story
We will be climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain the UK, at night, in aid of Alzeihmer's Society. We make the climb by torch and moonlight which adds significantly to the challenge. Depending on our speed it may still be dark when we reach the top!
Alzheimer's Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, their families and carers. Dementia is progressive, which means the symptoms such as memory loss, thinking and language will gradually get worse. When a person with dementia finds that their mental abilities are declining, they often feel vulnerable and in need of reassurance and support. Carers, friends and family - need to do everything they can to help the person to retain their sense of identity and feelings of self-worth.
Please support us in our challenge to raise money for such a great cause :)
