So, I am competing in a 10K run for the Aga Khan foundation Charity which is a non-denominational, international development agency established in 1967 by His Highness the Aga Khan. Its mission is to develop and promote creative solutions to problems that impede social development, primarily in South and Central Asia and East Africa.

 In every undertaking, the AKF’s overriding goal is to assist in the struggle against hunger, disease, illiteracy, ignorance and social exclusion.  AKF focuses on four selected issues: health, education, rural development and the strengthening of civil society.

Raising money this year is even more important due to the current financial climate and any amount large or small will really help to boost peoples lives in these areas by providing for every day things that we all take for granted.

I am flying over specially to compete in this run and to help raise as much money as I can for this great cause, and I have been training when ever possible to enable me to make the best possible time,any sponsorship I receive would be a real boost.So please dig deep and let me do the rest!Thank you so much for your support!sally xxxx
