For the month of February, I will be going on a fundraising spree! Everyone and anyone can get involved and here's how;

  •  Unwanted clothes collections. Anything that could be suitable to be sold in one of their shops. Simply collect the things you want to donate, give me a shout and I'l do the rest! (Please make sure you sign that GiftAid form!)
  • (Screw top) Plastic Milk bottle lids. Any colour (even red!), but please give them a quick rinse first! Again collect them up, once I get my hands on them, they go to a recycling plant to be broken down and the funds are directly donated to St Catherine's Hospice.
  • The lovely Mr James Devlin is quitting smoking! That's right, you heard it! Cold Turkey. That's your lot. Job Done! Please feel free to leave your donations here!
  • Brave the Shave! I am shaving my head! The whole lot. This is going to take place at the CBBA Dojo at K2 Crawley on Saturday 25th February at 3pm. Event Link Below

  • Bake Sale. Holding a local bake sale anywhere is a great little fundraiser! I currently have one planned at the office, which is always a great place to start!
  • Lisa is selling hand made 'Hope Charms' where she is donating 50% of the sales to St Catherine's Hospice. Thank you Lisa! Get yours here...

Although an incredible place, many of us have been connected and touched by the hard work.

My friend Jaki is currently there. Shes in her 50s and is suffering pancreatic cancer. Jaki is very spiritual and has had a huge influence on my life in the time I have known her. I visit her regularly and we talk about what happens after, but we both know soon we will have to communicate on another level. St Catherine's Hospice have and are currently giving Jaki the most amazing care. She's kept comfortable and every member of staff has been so kind. We are all so very grateful to have a place like St Catherine's in Crawley.

A bit about St Catherine's Hospice. Did you know that between 2015 and 2016 St Catherine's cared for 2305 people living with a lifetime illness and 31% had a diagnosis other than cancer. They go above and beyond to give the best service of care. They even held 4 weddings and 12 birthday parties in the same time!
