Story
Unfortunately the Great East Swim has been cancelled this year, so I've been looking for a challenge to replace this for my fund raising efforts 2022. MIND are hosting a dog walk challenge in June - 118km over the month. This may sound easy but I can assure you its giving me all sorts of headaches. Yes, its only 4km a day but with shift work I only have to miss one day and its 8km, or 2 then its 12km - it soon racks up!! I'll be completing this challenge with my rescue dog Madeye Moody.

Why?
On the 20th September 2016 my brother Carl lost his battle with mental health illness, his loss has devastated our family. Carl was a devoted family man. He was an awarded and dedicated police dog handler, talented guitarist and an outdoors loving man.
He did not suffer any of the addictive conditions typically associated with mental health illness. Please, lets stop the stigma of mental health illness, if you have a friend or relative you would like to help, check out the link below.
