Story

In 2022 I will be taking part in 3 Events to raise money for Huddersfield Feral and Strays

Challenge 1

On the 1st of May 2022, I will be participating in the Lancaster Half Marathon (21km), I am not from a running back ground at all and in the 5 weeks prior to the marathon I suffered with Covid 19 which took its toll on my lungs. This half marathon is going to be a challenge to complete but I am determined to do it.

UPDATE: - in 3 Hours 3 Minutes and 7 seconds I completed my first ever Half Marathon!!! - Amazing Support so far thank you!

Challenge 2

On 6th August 2022 I will be doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks which is 24.5 miles over 3 peaks.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge - Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough - YouTube

Update:  We completed the 3 peaks in 11 hours 44mins!

Challenge 3

Finally on the 11th September 2022 I will tackle the Great North Run again another 21km.

2022 The Great North Run – VICTA

Update: Great North completed in 3:38.04 - not the greatest of times but unfortunately I sustained a sprained ankle 12 hours before the race.

I am asking for donations to help the amazing charity I am so fortunate to be a part of. I get to see first hand the amazing difference we can make to Cats lives and the communities which they come from.

Covid 19 has severely affected our ability to fundraise and I am hoping that I can complete these 3 challenges for our kitties.
