Story
As my offline pledges don't get a mention, a big thank you to my mum and dad who have given me one months worth of mum's state pension! My old employers back in my younger years, Bill and Karen for their very generous £50 donation, Heather and Gee who matched that last night whilst rather drunk at our running club Christmas party and Alan Meek, also a lovely running club member who fully understands the pain involved!!
Also thanks to Bravissimo for not only their sponsorship but also some lovely sports bras :-)
I have now set up a blog so you can keep up to date on all my lovely training. www.sallysmarathonjaunt.blogspot.com
Thanks to all those who have sponsered already and for those who haven't I've left the message below...
All the money raised for the NOS goes into diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. They have a network of local support groups run by people affected by osteoporosis for the benefit of people living with the disease. This is a great comfort for those newly diagnosed.
So now the plea! I really need you all to dig deep, I have a HUGE target of £1,600 which I HAVE to achieve. Being cheeky it’s 160 x £10’s or 80 x £20’s, that said I would just as appreciate £1 as I know times are tough at the moment. Many many thanks
