We are raising money for DebRA, a small charity dedicated to helping people (mainly children and young adults) in the UK with the heart-rending genetic skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).  EB is a complex condition which results in lack of proper bonding between the layers of one's skin which can cause blistering at the slightest touch or rub.  Physical symptoms for people affected range from mild blistering to severe wounds (external and internal) which can lead to disfigurement and long-term disability together with many associated problems and needs: emotional as well as physical. 

All of DebRA’s work is funded through voluntary income. In 2013 they need to raise a minimum of £82,000 for their services supporting families with EB in the Midlands. 

Ed has been involved with DebRA for a number of years. If you take a look at their website, we're sure you'll share our view that DebRA is a really worthwhile cause that gets relatively little publicity which makes fund-raising more difficult, but also means the money you give makes all the greater difference.   If you feel you can support us we would be really grateful.
