Story

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk .

On Friday 11th September 2020 my eldest, Oli (Limbo) Brown, went to the local pub with his friends. There were no signs that he had contracted a virus that stopped his heart and he collapsed and passed away.

Oli had created his bucket list, which we found; and on one line his goal was to run a marathon.

I am running the London 2022 marathon for Oli, in his memory whilst raising vital funds for CRY.

CRY have supported myself and my children through our loss. We are just one family of many that CRY supports.

Thank you very much for your donation, it means so much to me.

Lots of Love Oli, Mum xxxx
