I am running the 2024 London Marathon for the Meningitis Research Foundation as it is a cause close to my heart. In January 2013 my niece, Willow, passed away after she contracted Meningitis. It all happened so quickly and I want to raise awareness of this awful disease but also to raise critical funds to allow the Foundation to continue their life saving research and help their aim of a world that is free from meningitis.

I am not a runner in anyway so this will certainly not be easy but I'm looking forward to the challenge and getting to that finish line.
