Did you know that Birmingham Museums is a charity?
They use the citys collection to bring peoples stories alive through exhibitions, special events and fun activities. They work with schools, families and local communities to inspire, engage and support well-being.
Even though the doors are closed, they are working hard sharing stories from the collection, hearing personal stories and encouraging people to stay connected. They have come up with fun and educational online content as well as delivering essential support such as the Sarehole Mill Community Shop.
COVID 19 is having a massive impact on them and what they do for the city of Birmingham. They are losing thousands of pounds a week because making money to run the museums, from tickets, shops and cafes, is no longer possible.
Please donate to support their valuable work with local communities. Your help now will mean they can continue to support the people of Birmingham through this difficult time and beyond.
Thank you.
