Story

Myself and my two lovely daughters are walking a half marathon, Winter Walk Challenge London, in February in aid of Alzheimers Society. ❄️ We have all self funded our walk but would like to raise donations for a charity close to our hearts, and possibly yours too.

Dad/grandad was diagonised with mixed dementia over 4 years ago. It has been a very long, difficult and emotional journey of which my Mum/Nan did so well coping with for so long.

It has been extra hard this year with covid restrictions and not being able to visit. Dad has not been able to verbally communicate for a sometime but we have missed his smiley face and twinkley bright blue eyes. Although we have been fortunate to know that he is being very well cared for by the fantastic carers at Creedy House. Lets hope 2021 we can make up for the missed time together. X ❤️ X

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
