Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In 2002 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.   After 8 months of chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy, my doctors gave me a very good prognosis and, true to their words, I'm still here nearly 7 years later.

I am one of the lucky ones and I've known far too many women who haven't won their battle against this awful disease.

So, in memory of these women (particularly Ann, Celina and Alison) I am power walking the London Marathon with my sister Rosie to raise money for the fight against Breast Cancer.   Whether it's to find a cure, or to improve the treatment regimes (it's not called slash, poison and burn for nothing!) the money you donate to Breakthrough Breast Cancer will give mothers, sisters and daughters everywhere a better chance against this devastating disease.

Thank you for your kind support.
Sally-Ann
