Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I am really grateful for your support.

I'm riding from London to Paris because I've just turned 50 and I can - but more importantly, I'm riding in solidarity with all those people who who have taken on the biggest solo challenge of them all - the fight against cancer, whatever form it takes.

I will be riding alongside my great, Geordie, plate-pie making, Billy Joel-loving, champagne-swilling, freesia-loving mate whose Ninja husband has been walking his own hard path fighting myeloma and recovering from stem cell replacement last August.  We are riding together as Wheels & Heels ...

Alli and the Ninja are why I'm riding for The Anthony Nolan Trust, who work to save the lives of people with blood cancer.  BUT I'm also riding for every single one of my friends and family who have been affected by cancer - and especially in memory of my own, 'extraordinary' father in law, Jim Taylor ...
